Dialogar con las posibilidades de
la superficie, sus ambigüedades, sus límites, es de gran importancia para este
proyecto cuya finalidad es la de la interacción entre el hombre (deportista o
no) que busca el contacto con el agua. Articular espacios de agua con el
recorrer, con el habitar ese lugar que parece plegarse al interior del
territorio y que se dispone para el deambular. Se hace alusión al laberinto, a
la caverna, a un paisaje que contiene paisajes.


El complejo acuático&#38;nbsp; plantea una pregunta constante por la materia,
lo tectónico, la superficie. Busca hacer evidente la densidad del agua, llevar
a tierra lo que no tiene soporte; evidenciar que la materia tiene peso y,
partiendo de este punto, hacer emerger las atmósferas que son imperceptibles y
que pueden llegar a conformar espacio. 


La disposición de las cuatro
piscinas en la superficie (nado sincronizado —localizada en el nivel de
horizonte—, actividades subacuáticas, piscina escuela 1 y 2) responde a una
idea de continuidad en el recorrido que presenta múltiples posibilidades de
circulación a través de jardines invadidos de vegetación tropical. Se busca que
el trayecto sea fortuito, a partir de obstaculizaciones y divergencias, para plantear
la&#38;nbsp;

posibilidad de que quien lo habite se sienta parte


	del sistema configurado y
se sumerja en los diferentes niveles del complejo. Se trata de un proceso de circulación
en el que la naturaleza humana se encuentra inmersa en la naturaleza
geográfica.


Con respecto al ámbito técnico,
el proyecto experimenta al generar sistemas constructivos que permiten
velocidad y espontaneidad. Persiguen a su vez la verticalidad, conectando el
arriba y el abajo a través de elementos técnicos, como&#38;nbsp; las ranuras que se lograron en los muros. Por
otro lado el desarrollo triangular de las rampas permite, —además de generar la
sensación de extender el tiempo— en sentido descendiente, que el hombre se
sumerja en el paisaje para recuperar la relación visual con la bóveda celeste;
los patios— que articulan baños y camerinos— son espacios verticales y&#38;nbsp; dispuestos en sentido ascendente, a partir de
estos se recupera la lectura horizontal del espacio y este aspecto posibilita
reconocer el inicio y el final en el recorrido.


El sistema de baños es complejo y
específico. Son baños para deportistas y 
público en general que hacen pensar, al estar bajo sus caídas de agua,
en quebradas y ríos, que envuelven al bañista en una atmósfera geográfica
única.

	Los Quipucamayoc eran
funcionarios del Estado Inca especializados en el uso de los Quipus.
Registraban e interpretaban en sus cordeles; datos, números, fechas, registros agrícolas
y distancias, ayudaban a agrimensores a distribuir la tierra, el control de los
contribuyentes y a los astrólogos a interpretar épocas de siembra y cosecha. Administradores
de la naturaleza, sus recursos y productos, los quipucamayoc entendían los
ritmos y las pulsaciones de la tierra y de la vida del imperio, registrando el
pasado, administrando el presente y proyectando el futuro.

¿Cómo establecer una relación
simbiótica entre la ciudad, los paisajes naturales propios del lugar y el santuario
de Pachacamac a través de la configuración de un parque urbano de escala
metropolitana? El proyecto nace de la voluntad de responder a esta pregunta. El
proyecto se define entonces como una estrategia técnica de prospección y
valorización arqueológica permitiendo la generación del parque. La inscripción
del parque en la historia ininterrumpida del sitio, a través de la valoración
del paisaje y la cultura ancestral pretende rescatar la vital relación
establecida con el territorio para permitir la integración del parque al continuum
programático de la Lima contemporánea al establecerse como legado para las generaciones
presentes y futuras. Los efectos del proyecto podrán sentirse a escala local haciendo
frente a la presión de la expansión urbana y ampliando 


extensamente los equipamientos
del área circundante, pero también a escala territorial conectándose con la producción
agrícola y las redes turísticas asociadas a su pasado pre colombino.

Por
lo tanto como bien ha dicho José Canziani el desafío es “transformar un espacio
vertical de segregación (el muro) en un espacio horizontal de integración”.
Antes que dividir y cerrar proponemos proteger al transformar el borde en una
interfaz blanda y flexible capaz de mediar entre los distintos actores y condiciones
que rodean al santuario. A su vez la condición única de este parque cultural
nos obliga a pensar en la necesidad de romper las dualidades aparentemente
opuestas que usualmente gobiernan la planificación de nuestras ciudades. El
parque será: popular y cultural / urbano y rural / contemplativo y productivo /
histórico y contemporáneo / natural y artificial / local y global.

El proyecto se define a partir de las siguientes operaciones base que luego se manipulan y adecúan a características existentes, particularidades del borde y nuevos usos y
significaciones propuestas.

1. Prospección arqueológica (10x10m)


La primera operación a realizarse en cualquier etapa de implementación del proyecto
corresponde a un sistema gradual de relevamiento, limpieza y prospección del territorio en
base a una grilla de 10 x 10 metros y sus consecuentes precisiones según descubrimientos
específicos.
	

En este orden de ideas,
se trabaja con las tierras que con el tiempo taparon los vestigio y que se acumulan fuera de

las prospecciones arqueológicas. Estas tierras, así como gravas y rocas son seleccionadas
y ordenadas en una nueva disposición, dotándolas de un nuevo significado , así, excavación
y construcción confluyen en una línea bitemporal , en un sentido tiempo histórico y en el otro

el curso del diario devenir.

2. Urbanización y primera definición del borde


La primera capa de construcción del borde, dada su configuración, puede responder a

posibles nuevos hallazgos arqueológicos y establecerá el límite entre la urbanización y el santuario, conectando y nivelando además la infraestructura urbana del perímetro
residencial en áreas que hasta hoy carecen de ella.
	

Este borde funciona como muro de contención, protección y marco del santuario, paseo perimetral equipado y con circulación peatonal, de bicicletas y vehículos, espacio
sombreado en el día e iluminado en la noche.&#38;nbsp;Los tipos de recorridos en ciertos casos confluyen generando una “costanera” y en otros se

separan en pos de proteger del automóvil de ciertos sectores, transformándose en poco
más que un sendero.

3. Sistema de agua y riego


En un ámbito de escasez, el sistema de agua del parque no es solamente un problema
ecológico sino que también social, volviendo imperativa la optimización y tecnificación del sistema de manera sostenible en el largo plazo. A su vez el manejo del agua tiene la potencialidad de trascender su condición técnica y volverse un paisaje que permite la transformación del territorio (tal como lo entendieron las culturas pre hispánicas).&#38;nbsp;Pensando en el agua necesaria para regar el parque pero también para su uso como
elemento recreativo y de restauración ecológica (humedal) proponemos dos etapas:
	

A) Pozo en relación a acuíferos existentes en las cercanías del río (8 a 20m) que luego pasa a tanques de riego en puntos altos para regar por goteo aprovechando la pendiente
existente.

B) Combinación entre pozos y sistema de tratamiento mediante fitodepuración de las aguas
grises urbanas aledañas conectadas al mismo sistema de riego por goteo.


En el tiempo el proyecto se vuelve una máquina de restauración e intensificación ecológica.

4. Vegetación
En términos de superficies y de forma se establece un sistema de áreas circulares que van
desde los 0,65 hasta los 30 metros de diámetro, conquistando el territorio interior de manera
eficiente y controlada en una primera etapa. El cruce entre la prospección arqueológica y la
vegetación permite pensar en el uso de la grilla base y el desarrollo de un degradé hacia el

interior del parque y hacia las ruinas, en altura, profundidades de raíces y cantidad.Producto de las condiciones del lugar, la actividad arqueológica y la gestión del recurso
hídrico la vegetación constituye una colección botánica de especies&#38;nbsp;


endémicas que exaltan
la sutil exuberancia que determina el ecosistema compuesto.

Se trata de jardines fundamentados en el consumo racional del agua, usando vegetación resistente a su
ausencia, ambientes de alta salinidad, fuertes vientos, constante inscidencia solar y drásticos cambios de temperatura.

En etapas posteriores la rigidez inicial del sistema se complementará y diluirá con el

desarrollo de áreas de vegetación plantada y espontánea y que hoy, ya es observable en el
lugar.

Entrerríos,
que debe su nombre&#38;nbsp; a los ríos que lo delimitan, es un municipio ubicado
al norte del departamento. Cuenta con un agradable clima frío y montañas con
diferentes matices de verde. En una de sus manzanas, una manzana afectada por
una topografía pendiente, con un arriba y un abajo muy definidos, se encuentra
el lote que ocupa el parque educativo. En el límite inferior del lote, la Casa
de la Cultura, una edificación de la colonización antioqueña, muestra la
pervivencia de la arquitectura tradicional. En la parte superior, a más de
siete metros, una biblioteca hace sus esfuerzos por narrar el ahora. Es en esa
pendiente donde se encuentra el parque educativo que busca generar lugar a
través de la conexión y el entendimiento de la topografía, a partir de la cual
se originan escenarios para la práctica, ensayo y aprendizaje de la música.

El
parque educativo es un escenario en el que se presentan situaciones diversas,
que dialogan y que se dispersan. La rampa es el elemento común, que establece
relaciones y converge en las estancias que suscitan a
una apreciación noble del paisaje, buscando la dirección adecuada
para vincularse con el entorno (la iglesia, la montaña, la casa).

Dos
accesos que permiten el ingreso a una sucesión de espacialidades generadas a
partir de muros notables en su grosor &#38;nbsp;(eco de los muros de las casas
tradicionales del municipio) en los que la materia predomina y el vacío se
presenta como una forma de enmarcar el paisaje. 


Un paisaje que atraviesa el
proyecto, tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Ejemplo de esto son los&#38;nbsp;jardines interiores y los fragmentos geográficos que se enmarcan a través de
las ventanas.

Basta salir de la casa para
sentir los ecos de esos sitios que se han visitado, para&#38;nbsp; tener recuerdos e impresiones del pasado.
Querer regresar a Río Claro, Río Arma, Río La Piñuela y Charco Azul, al paseo
de agua y juego. De agua fría y bruma. Volver a ellos a través del agua verde
de un río (un verde que muta según la profundidad o la superficie) en una
piscina que busca, a partir de una idea de inmersión amplia, hacer que el
hombre que se sumerge se sienta parte del todo en el que se encuentra
emplazada.


Este proyecto no sólo habla de
inmersión en el agua, también de inmersión en el paisaje, en la topografía:
ubicada en El Retiro, la piscina se funde en la ladera mirando hacia la represa
de la Fe. &#38;nbsp;Una línea larga y delgada que
se prolonga para conformar una terraza nos habla de movimiento, busca perderse
en el bosque nativo. &#38;nbsp;Perderse también es
inmersión.

Al pretender que la piscina sea
una con el paisaje y se inscriba en el relieve (a partir de la continuidad y la
contención), se persigue la idea de que en la profundidad de la piscina también
se genere una geografía propia, que se acomode a diversas posiciones humanas parrticulares de la actividad acuática. Se estudia la ergonomía para que
el hombre se sienta cómodo como parte del sistema único creado.El turco —ubicado debajo de la
terraza para configurar un solo elemento—

continúa con la lógica de la
inmersión en el entorno:&#38;nbsp;

cerramiento en 
teja de vidrio artesanal &#38;nbsp;y
matices de verde,&#38;nbsp; se propone una nueva
forma de entender la idea de turco, alejándose de la penumbra y la reclusión
que la caracterizan.
El proyecto
de la piscina para un escultor gira en torno a la exploración de una idea
acerca de los límites. ¿Qué tan difusa puede llegar a ser la frontera entre el
afuera y el adentro&#38;nbsp; cuando una piscina —el
lugar— transforma el entorno y, a la vez, se ve transformada por ese paisaje
termal?&#38;nbsp;

El sol aún no se había alzado. Sólo los leves plie­gues,
como los de un paño algo arraigado, permitían distinguir el mar del cielo. Poco
a poco, a medida que el cielo clareaba, se iba formando una raya oscura en el

	La casa se encuentra entre medianeros. Se haya inserta en una manzana, en
un lote estrecho y profundo sobre una losa existente. Lo que se
persigue es dialogar con esas situaciones 
y construir sutilmente una relación entre el afuera y el adentro.


 Si el mundo está hecho de correspondencias, la
casa lo asimila y busca generar conexiones con su entorno. Ubicada de oriente a
occidente y localizada en Bello, en un barrio obrero que se ha densificado, la
casa parece estar sincronizada con la luz que la invade; el ritmo vital del
lugar está en una suerte de armonía con las horas del día. Se pretende
conformar el espacio a partir de técnicas tradicionales propias del lugar: generar
patios que hablen de la relación con la vegetación de las casas típicas del
barrio; crear variaciones en la sección para generar particularizaciones
espaciales; propiciar nichos en los muros gruesos (que hacen pensar en la
huella del habitar en un muro cuyo medianero se ha demolido); jugar con los
vacíos interiores, con el balcón (referencia al antejardín), con la mampostería
y a la par experimentar con la idea de tiempo reflejada en una atmósfera
relacionada con la luz, el patio, la fachada.


	Para la construcción de la casa se utilizan medios
convencionales cercanos al contexto de inscripción: mamposterías vistas,
algunos empañetados, pinturas de base aceite, carpintería metálica obtenida de
procesos de reciclaje local y vidrio esmerilado utilizados para diluir las
figuras concretas; estos son los materiales que dotan el conjunto de un
carácter atmosférico.


El sistema espacial de la casa&#38;nbsp; se construye a partir del fraccionamiento de
la sección en búsqueda de gradaciones; en el espacio fortaleciendo&#38;nbsp; la identidad de los elementos del programa. La utilización de patios nos acerca a la pregunta fundamental
por la importancia de la inclusión de la naturaleza, la luz, el aire y su
sonido en la vida doméstica.


Se pretende, a partir de la utilización de los
materiales de una forma franca, orientar la mirada hacia la constitución
original de la materia, hacia los conceptos iniciales de la arquitectura que hablan
de la proporción, la luz y el aire.

A la casa entran las imágenes y las ideas del
mundo que esta permite y esto se ve materializado de forma tangible en el material
de la fachada frontal, el cual diluye la imagen del exterior, alejándola y
ocasionando extrañamiento visual hacia &#38;nbsp;la vegetación del balcón y
 las situaciones cotidianas barriales.


 Partiendo de la idea de profundidad se
desarrolla la espacialidad total. La casa desplaza los muros hacia los costados,
originando el espacio central —el vacío— para así proporcionar lugares
continuos en los se presenta la vida cotidiana.

Todo
parece estar en calma, todo parece estar estático, cada piedra en su lugar. Sin
embargo, todo está en continua conmoción interior, en constante excitación. Los
pulsos arrítmicos del deseo solo pueden devenir en respuestas entrópicas, donde
no importa la energía materializada en "trabajo," donde no importa la
forma estática del objeto construido ni el volumen de vacío capturado; arquitecturas azarosas, donde la energía liberada en la ejecución permite
encontrar el valor de las membranas que delimitan temporalmente el vacío. 
No
interesa esa porción de energía que está contenida en el material y que
mantiene sus partículas en estrecha cohesión para capturar el vacío en la
eternidad, interesa por el contrario esa energía que no es liberada en los
procesos de ejecución del espacio, pero que tampoco es retenida por el objeto
en pro de la forma; interesa aquella energía que se libera lentamente en forma
de calor y ruido imperceptible, la que lentamente va permitiendo la degradación
de las formas, transformando las líneas en membranas porosas y el edificio en
ruina, en memoria del espacio. 


	Lo que nos importa es el conflicto entre la
liberación de energía y la transformación del vacío, mas no el vacío en sí
mismo; Lo que nos importa es la renuencia del material a ser transformado, mas
no su transformación. Lo que nos importa es la erosión de las membranas bajo el
influjo de los diversos agentes, climáticos y de ocupación humana.
No es
la forma aparentemente imperturbable, producto del proceso constructivo la que interesa,
si no la lenta o acelerada erosión de sus componentes, la ruina como acto
último del construir. Esa porción de tierra olvidada que ya no será olvidada,
aun cuando rápidamente volverá a ser un tenue relieve en aquel solar
abandonado. Porque finalmente, la vida no tiene estructura alguna más allá del
devenir y el discurrir del tiempo; cada superficie, cada volumen y cada vacío
se pueden entender como una construcción cotidiana de máquinas de deseo y
placer, para el discurrir de las horas, para la libre interpretación de los
sucesos espaciales.

Los parques de arena son espacios que pueden ser localizados en
diferentes lugares urbanos, buscando su activación a partir de la incorporación
versátil de actividades lúdicas a partir de nociones arquetípicas de espacio.


El estado espacial del proyecto se encuentra en un instante
anterior a la consolidación de la arquitectura. Fragmentos de muros existentes
o nuevos son perforados con vanos direccionando relaciones precisas con los
lugares de instalación. los fragmentos de muro son apoyados en fragmentos de
terraplenes volúmenes de arena suelta se depositan sobre muros y terraplenes
dotando de unidad el nuevo conjunto.


Surge una nueva geografía siempre fluctuante producto del
acomodamiento del material plástico al uso.


El proyecto evidencia una condición de un espacio transitorio
entre lo sólido y lo ligero, lo concreto y lo fluctuante transformando esta
relación en la posibilidad de un escenario de juego entre arquitectura y
naturaleza.

La casa
de patio es un tema universal; manifestándose de maneras particulares en
distintas épocas y culturas, conservando valores universales y
permanentes. La Casa Jardín es un proyecto que alberga en su interior la
noción de naturaleza representada en la vegetación animada por la luz tropical.


Para hacer esta casa se dispone un recinto
rodeado con el programa doméstico: salones, estudios y habitaciones se rigen
por la idea de naturaleza inscrita en el patio. A su vez el perímetro de este
programa es confinado por jardines nativos componiendo el ritmo que estructura
el espacio. La casa jardín nos acerca a una idea de la vida doméstica en la
cual se disuelve entre interior y exterior (cultura y paisaje).

La escuela peripatética fue un círculo filosófico de la Grecia Antigua. Seguía las enseñanzas de Aristóteles, su fundador. Recibió este nombre por estar situada al lado del templo dedicado a Apolo Licio, el cual poseía un jardín por el que, según la tradición, el maestro paseaba con sus discípulos, reflexionando sobre la vida. En griego peripatêín significa dar vueltas, por ello a los seguidores de Aristóteles también se los llamó peripatéticos 

(περιπατητικοί), y a la escuela Peripatos. Tras la muerte de Aristóteles, la escuela se preocupó más por investigaciones naturalistas y científicas que por cuestiones estrictamente filosóficas.”︎

	¿Durante el proceso de diseño y construcción
tenían problemas?¿Cómo los resolvieron?


El proyecto en términos constructivos es sencillo, sin embargo el
principal problema tenía que ver con &#38;nbsp;el color del concreto y la textura
exterior de los muros. Para la obtención del tono del concreto acudimos a &#38;nbsp;realizar
vaciados con concretos pre mezclados; realizamos muros de prueba en un predio
vecino en búsqueda de la apariencia deseada. Con estos muros prototipos
finalmente hicimos un parque de arena. Estos prototipos nos enfrentaron a todos los problemas técnicos que tendrían
los vaciados y nos llevaron a tomar la decisión de realizar una mezcla de
cemento blanco más arenas blancas; Eliminando la pigmentación recomendada por
el fabricante de las mezclas y decidimos fabricar en sitio nuestro propio
concreto.


Lo mismo sucedió con la formaletería exterior: queríamos un exterior más
rústico con las marcas de listones de madera; queríamos la evidencia de la
madera y en la segunda prueba decidimos utilizar madera de pino sin pulir y
obtuvimos el efecto deseado logrando un contraste entre el exterior y el
interior.


 ¿Cuáles eran los requerimientos del cliente para
el diseño?


Los requerimientos eran óptimos:
la propietaria de la casa vivió en su infancia en unas casas tradicionales de
patio; era una amante a la vegetación y esto direccionó el desarrollo del
espacio. Adicionalmente vivía con dos hijos jóvenes. El sistema espacial del
patio nos permitía emplear el patio como el recurso para ordenar las acciones
de la vida de esta familia.
